Non-Discrimination Policy

The You Hoop Organization is an EOE and does not discriminate on the basis of actual or perceived race, creed, color, religion, nationality, citizenship, age, disability or handicap, sex, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws. YHO is dedicated to this policy with respect to any of its activities and its operations.

Payment Policy

YHO offers a few methods for payment to accommodate its members. Parents can choose to pay the entire session up front or choose to have monthly installments using our online registration and payment platform. Parents and/or guardians are entirely responsible for the full session of dues regardless of the payment option they select. All payments are made safely and securely using, Blue Sombrero online software, sponsored by Dick's Sporting Goods. Cash and check are accepted, but electronic payment is preferred. Please notify us if you are unable to access the online platform.

Late Payment Policy

Member accounts are considered late 72 hours after the installment is due and will be subject to a $20 late fee. Any athlete with an unresolved outstanding balance will not be allowed to participate within the program until the amount is paid in full. Any special circumstances are considered case by case and will need approval from a program director.

Refund Policy

YHO has a strict no refund policy once players accept the terms and conditions of the placement offer and commit to their first and/or final installment. After the terms and conditions agreement, any player unable or unwilling to complete the session for any reason will not be provided a refund, but can be re-evaluated for placement to return to the program. Additionally, any remaining dues are still required, including all future installments to become eligible for participation.

Injury Policy

If or when a player becomes injured and is unable to participate for a duration of 6 or more weeks, the player can provide a YHO director with a doctor's note and the organization will suspend any future installments until the player is healthy, cleared, and released to participate by a medical professional. No refunds will be provided for past installments.

Insurance Policy

All YHO members are required to maintain accidental/medical insurance that will cover them in the unfortunate event of severe injury or illness. YHO does not assume liability for accidental or severe injury that takes place during its events, functions, and/or activities.

Grievance Policy

Any grievance or complaint from either party (parent or staff) will be subject to a minimum 24 hour grievance policy. We ask that any parent, player, coach, director, or trainer wait at least 24 hours before attempting to reach out for a meeting or to express one's emotions. This policy allows for negative emotions to be removed and subsided before logical and purposeful discussion may take place.

Code of Conduct

Parents, coaches, and players purposefully understand they are representing the You Hoop Organization and the commitment to our core values. We will always strive to be the best leaders in our communities and workplaces and will always do our best to positively represent the organization and its core value system. A great coach once said that talent can get you to the top, but it takes character to keep you there. YHO seeks to create a community culture that thrives on the value of long-term success rather than immediate gratification. Understand our ultimate goal is to develop young players leadership potential and build champions for life.
